APPLICATION

The waterproofing mixture is designed to protect the building structures from the effects of water inside and outside buildings, including for waterproofing roofs, basements, foundations, socles, parapets, balconies, terraces, showers, swimming pools, reservoirs intended for water storage, etc. Has good adhesion to metal, including colored. Do not apply to gypsum and anhydrite bases. The waterproofing mixture is applied from the side of the water. The elastic mixture with a layer thickness of 3 mm perceives deformations with a crack opening width of up to 0.8 mm. Protection against permanent wetting: 2 layers of lubricating waterproofing with a total thickness of 3.0 mm.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Waterproofing mixture should cover only dense, dry, clean base peeled from dust, dirt, grease, loose material. Small irregularities of the surface of the vertical bases should be smoothed out, and the unstable layer should be removed. Before applying waterproofing, the mineral substrate must be moistened, preventing the appearance of a continuous water film. From the metal surfaces to remove the oxide film, it is possible to treat the metal surface with a special metal primer. Cracks thicker than 0.8 mm thick should be repaired with repair mortar, small cracks can be sealed with a special tape, and this composition using a building mesh, etc. Waterproofing mixture is applied to the previously primed surface (concrete, cement-sand mixture, brickwork) after 28 days of the strength setting.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

The dry mixture is gradually added to the liquid component – Artisan No. 11 emulsion with mixing in a ratio of 1 kg of the mixture to 320-350 ml of the liquid component, to obtain a homogeneous mixture without lumps. Stirring is performed by a low-speed mixer. After 5 minutes, the stirring is repeated. Use of a mortar mixture is possible for 30 minutes. Waterproofing applied for 2, and if necessary 3 passes. The prepared mortar mixture by a thin layer with a brush or spatula should be applied to a damp but not wet base. Each subsequent layer is applied to the already hardened, but not yet dried, the previous one, adhering to the “wet on wet” method. The applied layer must be protected from rapid drying. Each successive layer is applied perpendicular to the previous one. The temperature of the mixture is from +5 to +30 ° C. After 7 days, the coating is ready for use.

Note!

If necessary, when thickening, dilute the mixture with a liquid component; do not dilute the composition with water.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The elastic waterproofing mixture contains cement, which at the time of hydration gives an alkaline reaction, therefore, during work, it is necessary to protect eyes and skin. In case of contact with the solution, rinse with water and, if necessary, seek the help of a doctor.

RECOMMENDATIONS

In addition to the information above on the use of elastic waterproofing mixture should be guided by the current regulatory documentation for the device of polymer waterproofing.

APPLICATION

Thin-layer waterproofing is used to protect floors and walls from moisture in bathrooms, toilets and other household premises on well-prepared grounds.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Before applying a waterproofing mortar, it is necessary to perform a mechanical cleaning of the surface of old plaster and paint, clay and silt layers, oil and bitumen stains, etc. Surfaces must be primed before applying a waterproofing coating. (Due to the loss of moisture during the recruitment process, the waterproofing properties of the composition can be significantly reduced). Surplus water from horizontal surfaces should be removed. Otherwise, in the future, it is possible to peel off the waterproofing coating together with the weakened layer.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

5 kg of a dry mix to mix with 1,25-1,4 l of water to reception of a homogeneous dense non-intercalating weight. The excess amount of water added to the mixture can reduce the performance of the waterproofing. Leave for 5 minutes, stir again. The solution is applied to the previously prepared surface with a hand tool (grater, construction brush). The thickness of the layer is 3-5 mm. The waterproofing solution is applied in two layers, the subsequent layer is applied after the drying of the first, perpendicular to each other.

Note!

To increase the degree of adhesion of the waterproofing mortar to the weakened surfaces to be treated and to reduce water absorption by the base material, it is recommended to pre-coat with primer “ARTISAN No. 7”. In special cases, it is recommended to lay the waterproofing layer on the plaster grid. The quantity of the prepared solution should correspond to the productivity of the work when laying the waterproofing solution of the required thickness and quality. Under normal conditions, it is necessary to use a freshly prepared solution for 30-40 minutes.  Freshly applied material should be periodically moistened with water or covered with a protective film in the initial time of hardening. It is especially important not to allow the drying of the material in hot weather and drafts during these periods.

All recommendations are valid at a temperature of + 20 ° C and a relative humidity of 60%. When carrying out work should be guided by building codes and regulations.

APPLICATION

Gypsum-perlite plaster is used in finishing works for manual plastering and leveling of walls and ceilings with any type of surface (concrete, gypsum, stone, brick, cellular-concrete) as well as for the preparation of grounds for painting, wallpaper, facing work inside rooms with normal humidity in residential, administrative and industrial buildings. Gypsum plaster allows you to get a smooth surface that does not require putty before the subsequent work. Has a short drying period. It does not form cracks and does not fade, even with a thick layer. Creates bases with improved heat and sound insulation properties for the most comfortable living conditions. In the rooms a favorable microclimate is formed.

Gypsum-perlite plaster – is a method of leveling walls, with the help of screed strips, which is the only effective alternative to gypsum boards. The main advantage – saving the volume of the internal space, as well as ease of repair and maintenance for long-term operation (gypsum cardboard systems should be dismantled). It is possible to apply plaster in the usual way, but the most qualitative result is obtained when performing work using screed strip.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The surface must be dry and firm, free of dust, oils, dirt and other contaminants of organic origin. To improve the adhesion of the solution to the substrate; for binding of dust residues; for highly absorbent and cementitious substrates – mandatory priming with “ARTISAN No. 7” deep penetration primer is required.

PREPARATION OF THE MORTAR

The dry plaster mixture is mixed with clean water until it is uniform. The mixture is poured into the water. The solution is held for 5-10 minutes, then mixed again. After that, the mixture is ready for use.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Plastering is carried out according to predetermined screed strips. The plaster solution is applied to the surface in one layer and leveled. The optimum layer thickness is 10 mm (the minimum is 5 mm, the maximum is 30 mm). After the beginning of setting, the surface is treated with a wide spatula, and after 15-20 minutes rubbed with a sponge grater, moistened with water and smooth with a metal spatula, obtaining an absolutely smooth surface. Plastering in two layers is allowed. For this, it is necessary to apply a notch on the first layer that has not yet hardened, and then apply the second on the dried surface of the first layer.

Plaster “Mechanics” is used for plastering walls and ceilings with interior decoration of premises. It is applied to all standard mineral substrates either manually or mechanically.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The surface should be dry and durable, free from grease, old paints, crumbling plaster. To ensure high-quality and long-term exploitation, it is recommended to prime all grounds with primer  “Artisan No. 7” , or “Artisan No. 8 Super”, depending on the requirements to the substrate.

APPLICATION

The mixture is intended for machine / as well as manual / plastering of brick (from ceramic, silicate, concrete bricks), concrete (including lightweight concrete), cement, cement-lime, lime-sand bases, 5-20 mm layer inside and out buildings, as well as in rooms with high humidity. Can be used as a base for decorative plasters and paint coatings.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The substrate must be smooth, dry, strong, and free from dust, dirt, grease, paint and other materials that reduce adhesion. The crumbling layers must be removed. All the grounds need to be pre-treated with the primer number 7 or, if necessary, primer number 8 or primer number 15 of trademark “Artisan”.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

For machine application, the water supply must be adjusted in accordance with the required consistency. With a properly selected consistency, the mixture will gently blend during application. Apply the mixture with a spray and level with a metal strip or similar tool. A multi-layer application of the plaster mixture is allowed, but in one pass the thickness of its layer should not exceed 20 mm. The subsequent layer is applied after the beginning of setting the previous / approximately 24 hours after application. When manually applied, the mixture is poured into water at room temperature and mixed mechanically until a uniform composition is obtained. The consistency of the mixture is controlled by the amount of water. The final surface treatment is carried out after the beginning of its setting, approximately 3-4 hours after application, depending on the substrate and weather conditions. The surface is moistened with a spongy grater. Smoothing can be done with a metal spatula, grater or other tool. In order to avoid the occurrence of defects, the applied plaster layer should be protected from rain, strong wind, drafts, direct sunlight. The room in which the work is done, it must be ventilated.

The mixture is intended for manual and machine plastering of any mineral surfaces: brick, stone, concrete, pumice, gypsum plaster, foam concrete inside and outside buildings. After drying, the surface can be treated with any vapor-permeable paints.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The substrate must be smooth, dry, strong, free from dust, dirt, grease, paint and other materials that reduce adhesion. The crumbling layers must be removed, if necessary, the base is pre-treated with primer No. 7, earth No. 8 super or primer No. 15 (Betonkontakt) of the trade mark “Artisan”.

PREPARATION OF THE MORTAR

For manual application.

The bag of the mixture is completely poured into a working container with water and thoroughly mixed until a uniform composition is obtained; the consistency of the mixture is adjusted to the necessary by addition of water. Do not violate the specified procedure for preparing the mortar mixture. Otherwise, a solution with other properties, including adhesion, heat-insulating, strength, etc., will be obtained. Mixing of the dry mixture with water must be carried out with a mixer at low speed for 5 minutes.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Screed strip are mounted on the surface to be treated. The mortar is applied manually with a stainless steel tool or with a plastering machine. After applying, the excess mixture is removed through screed strips with special tools. The maximum layer in one pass is 25 mm. If necessary, you can apply a layer of greater thickness by re-plastering the surface. After setting the mixture, screed strips are removed and their place is filled with the solution mixture. Depending on the weather and the surrounding conditions, the treated surface can be painted with paint after 2-4 days.

APPLICATION

The solution is used for manufacturing self-leveling floors (interlayers) on almost any pre-prepared basis in residential and public buildings. The thickness of the layer is 5-20 mm. Pouring into one layer. The ready-made screed meets all the requirements for floor interlayers, which can be applied to all types of coatings (parquet, linoleum, carpet coatings, tiles, paint, etc.)

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The most important factor is the preparation of the substrate. The main requirement is that the substrate should be strong and clean (cementitious grounds – at least 28 days). Before applying floors from the base, it is necessary to remove not only coarse dirt, but even dust, preferably with a vacuum cleaner. Large damages, for example, broken parts of the screed or voids should be filled with putty. All the grounds must be primed with primer Artisan No. 7, or Artisan No. 8 super, depending on the requirements for the substrate. Do not wet the surface of the substrate.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

The mixture is mixed with water with a low-speed stirrer until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. Wait 5 minutes and mix again. Then pour the solution onto a prepared base and distribute it with a roller, a hard broom, a rubber straps and similar tools. It is recommended to roll the surface of the poured layer with a spiked roller to remove air lock. You can use a piston or auger pump to feed the solution. In the event of a break in operation for more than 20 minutes, the machine should be cleaned with water. The hardened solution can only be removed mechanically.

NOTE!

Excess water reduces the mechanical strength of the solution and leads to delamination. After 36 hours on the floor you can walk. It is possible to apply various coatings to the floor surface in 7-28 days, taking into account the requirements of the state building norms B.2.6-22-2001. The most effective result is achieved at t + 20 ° C and 60% relative humidity. In other conditions, the operating parameters of the mixture may vary. To remove oils, fats, wax, paraffin, paints and other contaminants from the surface of the substrate, it is necessary to use alkaline solutions, and then rinse with water. Large damages, for example, broken pieces of screed, cracks or voids should be removed and plastered. All the grounds must be treated with Primer “Artisan No. 7”. Do not wet the surface of the base with water.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

The mixture is mixed with water approximately on a bag of 25 kg – up to 6 liters of water and mixed using a stirrer with low speed, until a homogeneous mass without lumps. Wait 5 minutes and mix again. Then pour the solution onto the prepared substrate and distribute it with a roller, a hard broom, a rubber bar and similar tools. It is recommended to roll over the surface of the poured layer with a spiked roller to remove air plugs. You can use a piston or auger pump to feed the solution. In cause of a break in operation for more than 20 minutes, the machine should be cleaned with water. The hardened solution can only be removed mechanically. The diluted solution must be protected from drying.

NOTE!

Excess water reduces the mechanical strength of the solution, the solution can be delaminated. Keep away from high temperatures and drafts. After 8 hours, the floor is ready for use. The manufacturer is not responsible for improper use of the material, as well as its application in order and conditions not stipulated by the instruction.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The mixture contains cement, which, when mixed with water, forms an alkali. Work should be in rubber gloves. If the solution gets into the skin or eyes, rinse them with plenty of water, if necessary, consult a doctor.

EXPIRATION DATE

In dry conditions and hermetic packaging the period of storage is at least 12 months from the date of manufacture.

APPLICATION

The solution is used for manufacturing self-leveling floors on almost any pre-prepared basis, in residential and public premises. The thickness of the layer is not more than 10 mm. Pour into 1 coat. The finished screed meets all the requirements of finishing floors, which can be applied to all types of coatings (parquet, linoleum, carpet, tile, paint, etc.).
