APPLICATION AREA

The additive is used to ensure the performance of concrete, masonry, installation and other works, the manufacture of reinforced concrete structures at negative temperatures. The additive provides a set of initial mechanical strength and eliminates the risk of freezing of the solution mixture at low temperatures.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

For the preparation of concrete, mortar with antifreeze additive, emulsion is added to the mixture with water per 100 kg of cement 1.0-1.5 liters of emulsion.

For preparation of glutinous mixture “Glue universal for tiles” Artisan “with antifreeze additive is dosed into 6 l of water – 120-150 ml of emulsion. Do not put concrete or mortar with additives on icy surfaces. In addition to the information above, the methods of using the material when working with it, should be guided by the current building codes and rules for the preparation of concretes and mortars in winter with the use of antifreeze additives. If in doubt about the possibility of a specific application of the material, you should independently test it or seek advice from the manufacturer.

NOTE

Work with the emulsion should be carried out at an ambient temperature of at least -5 ° C. All of the above recommendations are determined using standard Portland cement.

It is not recommended to use additives in dry building mixtures, which are used, as a rule, for the device of thin-layer coatings.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

When introducing emulsion into cement-containing materials, it should be remembered that at the time of hydration, an alkaline reaction occurs, so when working with such materials, it is necessary to protect eyes and skin. In case of contact with the solution in the eyes, rinse immediately with running water.

EXPIRATION DATE

In original hermetic packaging in rooms with a positive temperature of at least 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package.

The emulsion is packaged in 2 liters and 5 liters each.

APPLICATION

The waterproofing emulsion is used in conjunction with cement-sand “Artisan-С83” mixture for the construction of elastic waterproofing coatings on mineral substrates, is used on deformable and non-deformable, horizontal and vertical bases, with internal and external works in civil and industrial construction.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Preparation of the base is carried out, according to СНиП 3.04.01-87 and ДБН В.2.6-22-2001. The base must be dense, strong, even, without visible damage. There should be no salt deposits on the surface. Waterproofing mixture is applied to the previously primed surface (concrete, cement-sand mixture, brickwork) after 28 days of strength of this base.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

For the preparation of the mortar mixture, the dry part (cement-sand mixture Artisan-C83) is mixed with the dispersion (not diluted with water) per 1 kg of a mixture of 0.32-0.35 L of the dispersion and mixed intensively with a stirrer or low-speed drill (400-800 rpm) to obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps. Leave the solution for 5-10 minutes, then mix again. The solution should be consumed within 1 hour. Waterproofing is applied for two, and if necessary, and for 3 working passes. The first layer is applied with a brush on a damp base. The application of the next layer must be perpendicular to the previous one. Each subsequent layer is applied to the already hardened, but not yet dried, previous layer. Fresh coating for 3 days should be protected from too rapid drying. During the curing period, the coating should be protected from direct sunlight, drafts, rain and frost.

EXPIRATION DATE

In original hermetic packaging and in cool conditions (not lower than +5 ° C and not higher than +35 ° C) 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package. Avoid freezing.

PACKAGING

Dispersion is packaged in plastic containers of 10 liters.

                                                                                     UTILIZATION

Unused residues should be allowed to dry and disposed of with household rubbish.

APPLICATION

Emulsion is used as an additive while mixing dry mixtures with water to give chemical solutions after hardening (against acids, alkalis, fats, etc.).

Typical applications:

• at the enterprises of the food industry (dairies, breweries, canneries, distilleries);
• in baths and saunas;
• in containers containing aggressive substances;
• treatment facilities.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

While stirring the dry mixture with water, approximately 250-300 ml of emulsion per 1 l of water is added to the water when kneaded. The mixture is thoroughly mixed, preferably mechanically. The emulsion can be used in the preparation of plasters of various types, glues for tiles, grouts, various floors. The manufacturer is not responsible for improper use of the material, as well as its application in order and conditions not stipulated by the instruction.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Work with the additive in protective gloves, if it gets on the body, rinse with water.

APPLICATION

Addition of the emulsion “Artisan Emulsion” elastic “No. 9” in the solution mixtures allows to increase their elasticity, adhesion to the base, crack resistance, to reduce water absorption, as well as the probability of leaching. “Elastic” emulsion “No. 9” is used for mixing appropriate dry mixtures “Artisan”.

To do this, the emulsion is diluted with pure water in the ratio: 1: 4 when using them:

• for facing bases that are susceptible to deformation;
• for the device of heated floors;
• for the device of leveling screeds on deformable substrates, and also unstable bases;
• application of cement plasters (in the ratio 1: 6);
• solution for gluing ceramic and stone tiles for decoration of fireplaces, stoves, warm floors (in the ratio 1: 4, 1: 5);
• waterproof and durable seams of brick and masonry (in the ratio of 1: 6);
• repair of concrete structures (in the ratio 1: 4 or 1: 3);
• for strengthening and impregnating porous and unstable bases of the floor and walls (in the ratio 1: 6).

Note: The addition of an emulsion promotes a slower solution strength. The amount of dispersion is selected experimentally. Work should be performed at a temperature of +5 to +30 ° C.

Avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. It is advisable to work in rubber gloves. In case of contact with the skin and eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water.

APPLICATION

Addition of the emulsion “Artisan Emulsion Contact No. 10” in the mortar allows to increase their adhesion to the base, crack resistance, reduce water absorption, as well as the probability of leaching, increases the viability of the working composition. Contact emulsion can be used in almost all finishing and insulating mixtures; at the device of coatings from mortar mixtures, operated under conditions of static and dynamic loads; for the device of the contact layer between the base and the coating, increasing the adhesion between them; to fix the base.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Preparation of the base is carried out, according to СНиП 3.04.01-87 and ДБН В.2.6-22-2001. The basis for all types of coatings should be dry and durable, without visible damage. Unstable places must be removed and restored.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Work should be performed at a temperature of +5 to +30 ° C. The emulsion is diluted with pure water (temperature +15; + 25 ° C), observing the proportion prescribed for this application:

• application of cement plasters (in the ratio 1: 6);
• glue for mineral wadding and polystyrene plates (in the ratio 1: 4);
• adhesive with increased elasticity and adhesion on non-standard substrates (in the ratio 1: 4, 1: 3.5);
• solution for gluing ceramic and stone tiles for finishing fireplaces, stoves, warm floors (in a ratio of 1: 4, 1: 5);
• waterproof and durable seams of brick and masonry (in a ratio of 1: 6);
• correction of chipped concrete, repair of concrete structures. (in the ratio 1: 4 or 1: 3, to test empirically);
• for strengthening and impregnating porous and unstable bases of the floor and walls (in the ratio 1: 6).
