APPLICATION

Priming paint is designed for pre-treatment of bases as a strengthening, adhesive primer before applying subsequent textured, decorative coatings. It is applied on the bases of concrete, cement-sand, cement-lime plasters, bricks, plasterboard, etc. inside and outside buildings. It is also used in the system of external warming by wet method “Artisan” before applying decorative plaster. Can be used as an independent decorative layer. The primed base has the appearance of a white rough surface.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Preparation of the base is carried out, according to СНиП 3.04.01-87  and ДБН В.2.6-22-2001. The substrate must be dry, clean, without visible damage. Loose, unstable, porous surfaces are removed mechanically, aligned.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Stir well before use. The paint should be applied to the surface with a paint brush (do not apply with a roller). The work should be carried out at the temperature of the base from +5 to +30 ºС. Under normal climatic conditions (temperature +20 ° C and relative humidity 60%), the drying time is 4 hours. During application, as well as drying, freshly painted surfaces must be protected from rain, strong wind and direct sunlight until completely dry. Immediately after use, the instruments should be rinsed thoroughly with water, if necessary, cleaned with an organic solvent.

ATTENTION! Do not freeze the product. The manufacturer is not responsible for the incorrect use of the material, as well as for its use for purposes and conditions not provided for by the instruction.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply primer paint to skin and mucous surfaces. It is advisable to work in rubber gloves. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

EXPIRATION DATE

In original hermetic packaging and in cool conditions (not below +5 ° C and not above +30 ° C) 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package. Avoid freezing.

PACKAGING

The paint is packed in plastic buckets of 7.5 and 15 kg.

UTILIZATION

Unused residues should be allowed to dry and disposed of with household rubbish.

APPLICATION

 Primer uses for pre-treatment not absorbent bases (monolithic concrete, massive concrete coatings, polished concrete mounting blocks, sand-lime brick, etc.) and foundations with high water absorption (cellular concrete, etc.) before applying gypsum, lime, lime-cement, cement and other plasters, adhesives compositions, as well as before applying gypsum boards. Used as adhesive and reinforcing primers. Can also be used in the system of external insulation wet sanded before applying the decorative plaster.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

Substrate preparation is carried out according to normative documents. With primer “Betoncontact” are covered dense, dry, clean grounds, cleaned of dust, dirt, grease, and loose elements. Loose, flaking surfaces are removed with a brush.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Tool is ready to use. Before applying necessarily stir. Primer “Betoncontact” applies on the surface using a paint brush. Under normal climatic conditions  (temperature +20 °С and relative humidity 60%) drying time of primer on the basics – from 3 to 6 hours, very thick base withstands up to two days. Work should be carried out at temperature of base from +5 to +30 °С.

 ATTENTION! Freezing of the product is not allowed. The manufacturer is not responsible for incorrect material use, and also, for use of it for purposes and conditions not set in the instruction.
