The mixture is intended for fastening ceramic, concrete, clinker tiles, as well as tiles made of artificial granite, tiles, mosaics with a size of no more than 600×600 mm on walls and floors with a high heating temperature (up to 180 °C) indoors and outdoors. For strong brick, cement-sand, cement-lime, concrete and other mineral surfaces, it is especially recommended for facing fireplaces, stoves, warm floors (water and electric).

PREPARATION OF THE BASE

The foundation is prepared in accordance with DSTU – N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DSTU B V.2.6-212:2016. The base must be completely dry and strong. If there are irregularities or protrusions on the base, they should be removed by grinding or sandblasting followed by dust removal from the crevices with a vacuum cleaner. To remove oil, grease, wax, paraffin, paints and other impurities from the surface of the base, it is necessary to use alkaline solutions, and then wash with water. Large damages, for example, chipped parts of the screed, cracks or voids, must be removed and filled. Before applying the adhesive solution, the mineral base with a medium or high degree of water absorption must be treated with one of the deep penetration soils ARTISAN #7, #17 or #8. If the surface is high-strength, dense (concrete, reinforced concrete construction, silicate brick), ARTISAN CONCRETE CONTACT No. 15 is recommended to increase adhesion.

APPLICATION METHOD

Pour the adhesive mixture into a container with clean water (+18 – +20°С), using approximately 5.5-6.0 liters of water per 25 kg of the mixture, and knead the solution to a homogeneous consistency without lumps. Allow the solution to settle for 3-5 minutes and mix again. The resulting mixture is applied in a thin layer of up to 10 mm on the prepared surface using a toothed spatula with square teeth (tooth size 6-10 mm), depending on the size of the tile. The tile is not pre-wetted. Lay on the solution and press it to the base, if necessary, tap it with a rubber hammer so that the adhesive mixture is in contact with at least 80% of the surface area of the tile. The tile position can be adjusted within 10 minutes. After 48 hours, the surface is ready for technological movement, you can fill the seams with grout. Warm-up of the lined base should be carried out after the adhesive solution has fully hardened and spread (28 days). Increase the base temperature gradually.

NOTE!!! The most effective result is achieved at t+20°C and relative air humidity of 60%. Under other conditions, the operating parameters may change. Use only as intended.

EXPIRATION DATE

In dry conditions and sealed packaging, 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the packaging.

SAFETY TECHNOLOGY

The mixture contains cement, which, when combined with water, forms an alkali. It is advisable to work in rubber gloves. In case of liquid contact with skin and eyes, it is necessary to rinse thoroughly with running water. The material is non-flammable and explosive.

APPLICATION

Glue GS-62 is used for gluing to the solid bases of gypsum boards, combined gypsum panels. It can also be used for gluing stucco molding, gypsum blocks.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE

The surface of the wall on which the plaster solution is applied should be pre-cleaned of grease, old paints, plaster exfoliation, loose substrates. All the grounds must be treated with the primer “ARTISAN No. 7” or “ARTISAN No. 8”, depending on the substrate. With ground unevenness of more than 2 cm, the surface is leveled using gypsum boards (10 cm wide), which are glued to the GS-62 glue.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

To obtain a solution, the dry mixture is poured into a container of water, at room temperature, thoroughly mixed until a uniform composition and the desired consistency are obtained and after 5 minutes it is re-mixed. Work with the solution should be with a clean tool made of stainless steel or plastic. Do not wet the base! If the surface is flat or leveled by means of strips, the solution is applied to the sheets of gypsum board with a notched trowel with continuous longitudinal strips and along the perimeter. At unevennesses of more than 2 cm, the HS-62 glue is applied with flat cakes along the edge of the gypsum board with an interval of 35 cm and along the perimeter with a minimum interval (almost complete). The installed panel is tightly pressed to the base and with light shocks through the rail is set according to the level. All recommendations are valid at a temperature of + 20 ° C and a relative humidity of 60%.

! To prevent the appearance of gray spots on light rocks of natural stone, cement plasters and concrete, on which the glue is applied, should have a residence time of at least 28 days.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

The dry mixture is mixed manually or mechanically with clean water until a uniform consistency is obtained. Leave the mixture for 3-5 minutes, then mix again. The mortar mixture is applied to the prepared substrate with a flat side of the notched trowel with a thin layer, then the tooth side is spread over the surface. At a time, such an amount of mortar is applied to glue the tiles in 20 minutes. Do not pre-wet the tiles. The tiles are laid on the mortar and easily pressed against the base. Within 10 minutes you can adjust the position of the tiles.

!! When gluing thin marble tiles, it should be remembered that they can slightly change their color, which is caused by the high water-absorbing ability of marble. This effect disappears after the solution dries completely (after about 7 days).

After 48 hours, the surface is ready for technological displacement, you can fill the seams with a fugue. When carrying out construction work, it is necessary to be guided by the current building codes and rules.

!! Under adverse weather conditions (high temperature, wind, direct sunlight, etc.), the time of use of the solution deposited on the surface can be significantly reduced.

The mixture is used for gluing ceramic, stone (except marble slabs for which, taking into account the nature of the material, white glue is used) of the tiles on strong non-deformable substrates. It is especially recommended to use in facing fireplaces, stoves and warm floors.

A specific feature of the mixture is its increased thermal insulation properties, which allow increasing the heat-storage properties of fireplaces, stoves and warm floors. The product is resistant to vertical surface and has a good correction time, increased plasticity in comparison with standard adhesives. Improved technological properties of the mortar allow it to be used in mosaic tiles and tiles. If necessary, a variant of the glue is white.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
